A consultancy that builds, then steps back.
SPLX helps owner-operators build the processes, metrics, and leadership habits their team can actually run. The deliverable isn’t a binder. It’s a business that no longer needs you in every meeting.

Why we exist
Most small businesses hit the same wall. The founder built the company on instinct, relationships, and long hours. Now the team is bigger, the work is more complex, and the founder is still the chief everything — chief salesperson, chief problem-solver, chief decision-maker. The business can’t grow past the founder’s bandwidth, and the founder can’t step away from the business.
We started SPLX because we’ve spent our careers fixing this in much larger, much more complex companies — pharmaceutical equipment, aerospace composites, biopharma supply chains — and the playbook works just as well at the small-business scale. Most small businesses don’t need a strategy deck. They need clear processes, the right handful of metrics, and a leadership team that can hold itself accountable.
How we work differently
Plenty of consultants will hand you a deck and an invoice. SPLX is a build-with, not a build-for. We work alongside your team to install the operating habits, run the cadence with them for as long as it takes, and leave only when the team can run it without us. The test we hold ourselves to is simple: when we’re gone, does the work still get done?
That’s why our clients tell us the most valuable part of an engagement is often the leadership coaching — the conversations that don’t fit in a process doc. Processes don’t run themselves. People run them. We coach the people too.
Servant purpose, leading excellence.
Three things this means in practice:
The team comes first.
Our job isn’t to make ourselves look smart. It’s to make your team capable. We coach, we hand off, we leave.
Data over opinions.
Decisions get made on numbers and observation, not on whoever talks loudest in the room. We build the metrics that make that possible.
Practical, not perfect.
The best process is the one your team will actually follow next Tuesday. We build for adoption, not for the binder.
If this sounds like the help your business needs, start with a conversation.
